LOCAL COMPUTATION · EXPERIMENTAL

Check a calculation in Python.

Write a small calculation, supply measurements explicitly, and download the exact script and run record. Your code and inputs stay in this browser session; they are not sent to a computation service or saved to your account.

Limited Python, not full CPython. Skulpt 1.2.0 supports a Python 3 compatible subset, built-ins, math and restricted sys output support. No NumPy, pandas, SciPy, R, package installation, network access, interactive input or file access. Unsupported syntax may fail. Successful execution does not establish scientific correctness.

Execution limits and storage

One fresh isolated worker per run. Execution is terminated after 3 seconds; startup is limited to 10 seconds. Code: 16 KiB. Input: 32 KiB and at most 2,000 finite numbers. Output: 16,384 characters. Cancel discards the run. Inputs are preserved on failure.

Browser memory has no guaranteed hard quota: an excessive allocation can still exhaust this tab or device. Use small, trusted scripts and public or non-sensitive measurements. This is not an independently assessed hostile-code service. The runtime is downloaded from ASTRA only when Run is selected; no external package CDN is used.

Code and measurements are not autosaved. Downloads contain the submitted code, values and output. Keep them private where needed. Input and script hashes detect differences; they are not signatures, trusted timestamps or proof of validity. Deterministic reruns require the same runtime; validate results separately in your own Python environment.

Output

No calculation run. Enter your code and measurements, or load the illustrative example.

View or copy export contents

If a download is blocked, copy these exact contents into a local file. These are the last successful run, not unsaved edits.

The script includes the input values. The run record also includes runtime version, limits, timestamps, output and SHA-256 digests. It is not attached to an investigation automatically.
