METHOD ILLUSTRATION / NOT AN ASTRA FINDING

Separate a broad headline from a claim the evidence can test.

This astronomy example illustrates record structure only. It is not the first ASTRA investigation, has no ASTRA protocol or appointed reviewer, and does not establish a scientific conclusion.

Illustrative claim record

Example claim: unexpectedly bright early galaxies prove standard cosmology is broken.

What the cited evidence supports: JWST observations found more bright early galaxies than some formation models predicted.

What it does not establish: later analysis reduced several mass estimates, and the cited NASA analysis says the studied galaxies do not “break” the universe.

What remains open: star-formation efficiency, black-hole light, dust, selection effects, and which models need revision.

Status: method illustration only. It has no ASTRA protocol, independent reviewer, or published conclusion.
