ASTRAScience Network

CONTRIBUTE / EARLY STAGE

Bring what you know. Help shape what we investigate.

Scientists across disciplines and career stages are welcome, including students, independent researchers, academic teams and industry researchers. Contribute subject expertise, evidence checks, methods review or help with the workspace. The network is in formation; no formal scientific team or independent reviewer has been appointed.

FIRST STEP / NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Offer one way you could help.

Send a short private note. If there is a fit, the founder can reply to discuss scope, time, and credit. This is currently unpaid exploratory collaboration, not an application for a job or a scientific-review appointment.

The note and email are stored privately for the program owner. Nothing is published or sent to other contributors. To withdraw your note, email Jae@astrasciencenetwork.org.

These are invitations to discuss scoped contributions, not salaried job openings or positions on an established scientific team. There is no paid role or fixed project commitment to announce at this stage.

Use your ChatGPT account to open the research workspace and keep a private draft across devices. Signing in identifies your account; it does not verify qualifications, independence, or reviewer status.

01 / WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

Different skills. One standard of evidence.

01 / DATA

Data analyst

Reproduce a calculation, document weak points in data or code, and make the steps possible for someone else to check.

02 / METHODS

Research-methods reviewer

Challenge a proposed question, study design, and interpretation. Identify what a future study would need to be defensible.

03 / PRODUCT

Product engineer or designer

Test whether researchers can actually use the workspace, then improve the path from question to source, note, and review.

04 / COMMUNITY

Community perspective

Identify whom a project is intended to serve, whose perspective is missing, and what the available data cannot tell us.

02 / HOW WE BEGIN

Start with a conversation, then define the work.

  1. Tell us your perspective. Share your background, the questions you care about, and the kind of contribution you could make.
  2. Choose a bounded task. Agree on the scope, time, materials, credit, and any access or review requirements before work begins.
  3. Show the reasoning. Record sources, methods, limitations, disagreements, and changes so others can inspect them.

Researchers at every career stage are welcome. Domain expertise matters when a project requires it; participation alone does not confer scientific approval. Scientific reviewers must inspect defined material, disclose conflicts, and keep unresolved objections on the record. See the first-investigation record and review process.
